A weird situation where you have some sort of “alcohol brigade” who punishes people who are drunk and behave badly.
I can imagine the attackers initiated this conflict but the drunk guys read the situation wrong and acted badly (somewhere)…then they became a vulnerable target for the two attackers.

Alcohol can also increase the likelihood of you perpetrating violence against someone else. Alcohol can reduce your inhibitions and self-control and lead to increased levels of aggression.
In Kiev, a group of people who fight alcoholism in an unusual way: they beat drunk people and those who drink alcohol in prohibited places.

“An organization has emerged in Kiev that punishes drunk people on the street who behave very ugly and those who drank alcohol in playgrounds and places for sports,” the statement said.
An unknown person doesn’t take anything from his victims, they just beat them and explain why.
Now we know of ten such cases in different areas of the capital.
TSN later became aware that the video captured the incident that occurred in the Dnipropetrovsk region Pavlograd. According to local residents, the attackers left the park, near one of the shopping centers and passed by several shops on the ground floor. Direct beating occurred between the Gulliver and Olympia shopping centers.
Kiev operative in the comments to the post noted that there were facts of beating a drunk in Kiev, and they added a video, for example.
Recently in Kiev due to bad habits of killing. One person made a remark to another person due to the fact that he smoked in the wrong place and cursed at passers-by. A verbal conflict arose between the men, during which the suspect dealt a mortal blow to his opponent.
