A corporal of the São Paulo Military Police suspected of raping an 18-year-old girl appeared at the police station on Monday afternoon in São Paulo. The victim did not recognize the military as the rapist. Thus, his pre-trial detention was revoked and he was heard and released. The defense lawyer said the client was on the coast of São Paulo at the time of the crime.
The rape happened on October 14, in the Aricanduva neighborhood, in the eastern part of the capital of São Paulo. A street security camera where the crime happened registered the criminal’s action.
